New Discoveries - September 2017

Last month I received a big box of beauty goodies from home, and I'm still just delving into some of the products weeks later! I've pulled out the four products I've been most impressed with so far, and surprisingly it's a makeup heavy lot. I feel like my New Discoveries posts are usually dominated by skincare, so this is a fun and refreshing change for me. Click through to read more about September's New Discoveries.

McArthur Skincare Foaming Facial Cleanser Review

McArthur Skincare, a Perth based brand that firmly believes in the power of pawpaw extract, says "with its soft feel on the delicate skin of the face, McArthur Skincare's Foaming Facial Cleanser deeply cleanses, removing impurities and make-up while respecting the skin’s own moisture balance leaving the skin refreshed and radiant." This foaming face wash contains 125ml (4.25fl oz) and retails for $19.95 on the brand's website (which offers worldwide shipping). McArthur products can also be purchased at select chemists and Priceline stores. McArthur products are cruelty free (this cleanser is vegan) and made in Australia.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara Review

Tarte says "Paint on dramatic lashes powered by good-for-you ingredients with this vegan natural artistry™ mascara. Infused with triple-black painted mineral pigments that strengthen and condition lashes while delivering bold black definition, you’ll get flirty length and volume without any icky, bad ingredients. The patented mascara wand features molded, multi-length bristles that grab-and-lock onto even the tiniest lashes, saturating them in 360° root-to-tip pigment. In a simple stroke, you can sculpt, separate and curl your lashes without any messy flaking or clumping." Tarte sells their Tarteist Lash Paint in two sizes - 7ml ($23US/$32AUD), and a travel size 3ml ($12US/$17AUD). I received the smaller of the two in an Ipsy Bag. Tarte is cruelty free, and as mentioned in the product description, this mascara is vegan friendly. The Tarteist Lash Paint was made in Italy.

Products I've Hit Pan On - September 2017

Hey guys, checking in with my quarterly Products I've Hit Pan On update! I've had mixed success over the last three months; I made big progress on two products, and barely made a dent in a few others. If you've been keeping up over the months, you'll notice that I'm down a product! I decided to toss my Pixi Subtly Suntouched Bronzer in my August Empties because it was down to the very edges and difficult to pick product up - plus I was just kind of over it after all these years. Click through to see more of my panning progress!
